How it works

Green hydrogen

We generate green hydrogen with renewables so you don't have to worry about buying, operating, and managing expensive equipment.

Delivered to you

Our green hydrogen is transported directly to your sites using an innovative mobile solution, allowing you to continue with your normal operating model.

Fuel on-demand

We understand that your green hydrogen needs may change over time, so we'll deliver as much hydrogen as you need when you need it.

Why hydrogen is important

Hard-to-abate applications

Direct electrification and batteries are critical in our transition to net zero. We also need green hydrogen as it's an essential fuel source for the decarbonisation of hard-to-abate applications such as road haulage, shipping, and aviation. For these applications, where there's a need for high utilisation and weight is key, hydrogen offers a cost-effective and credible solution.

Governments around the world are recognising the importance of hydrogen, and at the beginning of 2021 over 30 countries released national hydrogen roadmaps and governments have committed more than £50 billion in public funding. Globally, there are currently 200 hydrogen projects in the pipeline, with an investment of over £215 billion.

Grid balancing

Electricity grids must be kept in balance, which is when the amount of electricity supplied to the grid is equal to the amount of electricity that is being used. If there's not enough electricity to meet demand there will be blackouts, and if there's too much electricity it'll damage the grid infrastructure and connected electronics.

With rising numbers of intermittent renewable generation (wind and solar) supplying the grid, balancing the supply and demand is increasingly difficult without controllable sources of demand. Hydrogen can be produced when the wind is blowing or when the sun is shining, which enables a higher amount of renewables to supply the grid.

For hydrogen buyers

We'll supply customers with fuel-cell grade green hydrogen at 350 or 700 bar in batches ranging from 200kg to 1000kg. Prices start at £5.30 per kilogram.

Hydrogen is delivered directly to customer sites using mobile hydrogen storage and dispensing solutions using a zero emission hydrogen-powered HGV.

For vehicle operators

We offer a pay-per-mile lease option for vehicle operators who require a risk-free zero emission HGV operation.

Our price per mile is an all-inclusive and covers the cost of the hydrogen-powered vehicle, the supply of hydrogen fuel, as well as the other costs such as maintenance, insurance, and road tax.

For renewable developers

We're looking for renewable developers interested in securing competitive PPA agreements by allowing us to commission and operate our hydrogen generation equipment at their future sites.

  • Open to fixed long-term, and short-term flexible pricing.
  • Able to offer an uplift to a traditional PPA price.
  • We take care of planning, safety, and operations.

For green hydrogen generators

We'd like to discuss off-take opportunities with businesses that are either planning a green hydrogen project or are already producing green hydrogen.

With our innovative mobile hydrogen storage units, we can pick up hydrogen from generation facilities and deliver it to our customer sites.
